Blake and I spent a weekend in Boston a month ago and had the best time.

We LOVE cities. If you follow us on Instagram it’s pretty obvious that every time we travel we end up in a big city... we love them we love them, especially Boston. We mostly stayed in the Cambridge area (near Harvard) and explored the city by walking everywhere. It was amazing. We found some well known and some other local-known spots on our trip and I wanted to share here!

Best places we discovered in Boston. :)

Let’s start with the most important thing. WINE.

WINE TASTING: Newport Vineyards in Rhode Island

A huge winery venue with affordable wine, tastings, and even beer if you’re into that!

BOAT RIDE AND BEST SCALLOPS OF MY LIFE

Go here for the scallops: Midtown Oyster Bar in Newport Rhode Island

Go here for an amazing Rhode Island boat ride: Madeleine on the Madeleine, Classic Newport Cruise

FAVORITE HOTEL: The Godfrey

This place was amazing. I loved the marble interior and seriously best location for city fun. We would wake up every day and walk around the city exploring (close to City Park too!)

FAVORITE COFFEE: George Howell Coffee (conveniently located inside The Godfrey hotel.)

Really tasty espresso and I trust any coffee shop that has a Chemex display.

FAVORITE BREAKFAST: Tatte Bakery.

Blake and I went here 3 times and aren’t even ashamed about it! Since we are gluten free, we loved this place because it had gluten free bread and the best poached egg and veggie breakfast I’ve had! The coffee and matcha are delicious too!

APPLE PICKING: Carlson Orchards.

Pick your own, play in apple orchards, spike your cider etc. etc. There are also cider doughnuts that we didn’t eat because again, gluten. I loved this place!

OTHER FAVORITE SPOTS:

SHOPPING: Newbury Street

I loved walking around Newbury! So many tasty restaurants, coffee shops, etc. We stayed close to this street and loved it.

COCKTAILS: Drink (a speakeasy we went to last time we were in Boston and it was amazing!) The Godfrey Hotel also had amazing negronis!

SUCH a great time in Boston and as always, more travel to come this year! Can’t wait to share what trip we are going on next… :)

THANK YOU for reading!
